When hanging out with jillbertini the other night, I forgot for a brief moment that she was talking about her reaction to Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell, so when she said "I didn't see what the point was, once the war was over" my heart took a surprised leap, and I actually thought "the war is over?!" Elation ran through me. And then I sadly recognized my mistake.
