Some interesting thoughts by Heidi McDonald on the the portrayal of women in comics. For those not familiar with the controversy, this was stirred up by a blogger's response to the new Mary Jane statue Marvel just put out. Lots of boob, butt, bent over doing laundry, wearing a pearl necklace. And kinda gross.
