I worked 10 days in a row so I could go to Spokane for 5, then worked another 3 days...all looking forward to an excellent, relaxing 4-day weekend.  Today I've felt a bit dehydrated, but good overall.  But ever since my brother called to report his fever is up to 103, and that mom is taking him to urgent care first thing in the morning because the doctor thinks he has the extremely contagious strep throat (which first showed visible symptoms Christmas Eve)...I'm starting to feel a little paranoid.  Is that odd feeling in my throat the start of something nasty?  Or nothing at all?

I can not think of a much worst time to get sick.  I really don't want to get sick.  I've been sick for New Years Eve at least 3 times in the last 8 years that I can remember.  If I am sick this one, I am going to cry.  Truly I will.
