Must see DVD!

Ok, I understood WTO = bad. And kinda had some ideas why the IMF and all those big lenders might not be looking out for everyones best interest. But now I _really_ get it, and could probably make a good argument at a cocktail party, or even with my conservative coworker if need be. More importantly, I have a better understanding of the Big Picture. Last night I watched Life and Debt, an amazing DVD all about how Jamaica has been affected by free trade and the global economy. If you actually believe the people in power want to help 3rd world countries, then you must see this film. The accents can be tough to work out at times (no subtitles available, alas), but its not like they are speaking a different language...this is English (I felt a little ashamed of myself when I almost didn't bother trying to understand the film because of this small inconvenience).
