I know...that was the thing in the article that really bugged me too...their examples of nerds where actually just people who were more normal than most "perfect" celebrities.
I've been talking to a lot of people about the difference between nerds and geeks all weekend, to no satisfactory end. The boy says: "Who cares...they all fall under the same banner of dorkdom".
