dirtylibrarianThe trip to Chicago was perfectly lovely! No accidents, our colds were successfully contained by zinc, antihistamines, and sheer will. Traveling on 9/11 was fine, other than the fucking CNN reports at the airport basically warning anyone overseas to be scared shitless. I had that lovely limy seafood salad at Spoon I dream about, and Swedish breakfast, plus amazing duck tortellini, a bloody mary atop the Hancock, Indian buffet on Devon, lunch in Marshall Fields basement, and of course hot dogs at Wrigley Field. AND we went to the Art Institute, MCA, and caught free day at the Science and Industry Museum on our way to the airport. Plus went to a wedding! All in less than 5 days! J. said he had more fun than at Burning Man. Mission successful!
