A "duh" moment

Dang. I know my talent for remembering names is pretty awful, but for months when I have seen Harvey Weinstein's name, I've thought: "Oh I love him. He was great in Torch Song Trilogy. And narrating The Times of Harvey Milk. I guess I haven't seen him in any movies lately because he has found a successful career producing." Tonight I had that nagging feeling that maybe I was mixed up and checked IMDB. Sure enough, I love Harvey Fierstein, not Harvey Weinstein. I don't know why I feel disappointed. I guess I was kinda rooting for Mr. Fierstein.

Ok...a strange follow up. I just found out Harvey Fierstein wrote a children's book called The Sissy Duckling. We have it at our branch and I read it. Not bad. Seems like maybe there was a need for sissy pride books for little kids ;)
