I like getting A.Word.A.Day. I don't know if it has actually helped my vocabulary or not, but I enjoy it none the less.

I'm going to try and start using the words I like in a blog post.

This week's theme: Words that seem risque.

titivate (TIT-i-vayt) verb tr., intr.
To make smarter; to spruce up; to decorate.

This spring I hope to titivate my home, garden, and resume. But mostly by simplifying the first two, and creating a curriculum vitae for the last.
