first 101 thing done!

#60 - get new camera. I guess this was an easy one, because I had already been planning to do it. But it still feels nice to cross something off :)

I'm really looking forward to getting back into the habit of photography!

Had a good band practice tonight, though we totally killed Car. We hadn't played it in quite a while, and I think if we are going to try it, we will need to really re-invent it. I sang one of Colin's songs, and at the end of it realized I had played drums through the whole way without thinking about it! Though it is hard for us to see sometimes, progress is being made. And now Mars is moving into a party house that we could actually gig at, so hopefully we can do a show in May, as per our band goal.

I highly recommend checking out the photos of Nina Berman. She recently became a bit famous, for taking an award winning portrait of a Iraq vet and his wife on their wedding day. Salon has a good article about the picture. Her other photos are well worth looking at, too.
