weekend plans

Your day-to-day responsibilities at home or in the community are being deemphasized now in favor of more social activities. It's not that you won't still be concerned with meeting previous obligations; it's just that you are ready to delegate work to others so you can enjoy the support of your family or peers. Make time to be with friends so you can dream about the future, instead of just working in the present.

Ok...so I am planning on doing a thing or two around the house...but not much. technogreek is heading to Canada for the weekend to hang with his buddies and watch a hockey game. I've got tons of girlfriend time planned, including:

* using my new camera to do a photo shoot
* going to a day spa for scrubby, moist treatments
* going to a big gay birthday party (last year I was 1 of 2 women)
* watch some DVDs
* go to a rummage sale
* go to museums

Should be lots of fun!

I haven't taken any amazing pictures yet, just trying to get a feel for things right now. I need to give myself permission just to play around with it for a while, and not be too serious right away.

But check out the close-up on this baby! I've been wanting to be able to do close ups like this for eons!
