First a map, that I do not feel applies to me, but is sadly true in general:  The World According to Americans.

And from holyoutlaw : Stuff White People Like.  Both hilarious and thought provoking, and confronts some difficult truths about race in America.  I find myself guiltily resonating with MANY of the things on this list.  I adore Mos Def and Michel Gondry.  I take secret pride in living in a "rough" neighborhood, knowing I'm going to make a huge profit from doing so.   I'm pretty much an obsessive-compulsive recycler.  And don't get me started on my love of sushi.  And I do love Wrigley Field.  And traveling.  ...

That said I am super opposed to Standing Still at Concerts.

Stuff White People Like was also on the Slog. I scoopt da Slog!

I also liked the responses I got saying "not all white people are like that." To which I was tempted to respond "not ALL Japanese are buck toothed and great at calculus." Oh well.

I like the map. It left out the elephants continent, though.
