We Find Ourselves (Walking Dead - Volume 15)
Robert Kirkman
Adult Graphic Novel
Recommend?: Yes.
Zombies. Gated communities. Survivors. Damage. Brain damage. Betrayal. Frustration. Smooching.
Still worth reading.

Pandemonium
Chris Wooding
Teen Graphic Novel
Recommend?: Yes.
Fantasy. Secrets. Princes. Flying. Battles. Giant cats.
Interesting mix of fantasy world with contemporary sounding dialog. Might be good to booktalk to middle school.

Cat Girl's Day Off
Kimberly Pauley
Teen Fiction
Recommend?: Yes.
Fantasy. Special powers. High school. Crushes. Friendship. Movie making. Pet communication. Cat philosophy. Mysteries.
Fun. I'll probably booktalk in the fall.

Jubilee
Robert Kirkman
Teen Graphic Novel
Recommend?: Yes.
Superpowers. Ex-X-Men. Wolverine. California. Lost relatives. High school. Crushes. Friendship. Blackmail. Assasins.
Not bad, reasonably strong girl character. But the cover has a rediculously awkward/painful pose on it that just about ruins it for me.

Chi's Sweet Home (Volume 8)
Konami Kanata
Kids Graphic Novel
Recommend?: Yes.
Kittens. Family. Japan. Friendship. Cats. Exploration. Physical development. Agility.
Silly fun, but adorable too.

The Wicked and the Just
Jillian Anderson Coats
Teen Fiction
Recommend?: Definitely!
Historical fiction. Wales. Pespective. Middle ages. Class. Wars. Persecution. Justice. Girls.
Powerful stuff and quite readable.

Lexapros and Cons
Aaron Karo
Teen Fiction
Recommend?: Definitely!
OCD. High school. Guys. Crushes. Friendship. Masterbation. Humor. Therapy. Medication. Frustration. Family.
Not sure I can booktalk with so many masterbation references, but boy did I love the happy ending to this one!

Teen Boat!
Dave Roman
Teen Graphic Novel
Recommend?: No.
Teenagers. High schools. Stereotypes. Superheroes. Yaughts. Transformation. Crushes.
I do not remember the last time I was so annoyed by a book, and finished it only so I could bitch about it. Clearly I am not the target market.

The Big Ride (The Boys - Volume 9)
Garth Ennis
Adult Graphic Novel
Recommend?: Yes.
Secret agencies. CIA. Superheroes. Revenge. Violence. Rape. Abuse of power. Evil corporations.
This series frequently disgusts me, but does a better job of exploring the evils of corporate abuse of power than anything else I've encountered. I love it, but recommend it on a very limited basis.

This Is How: Proven Aid in Overcoming Shyness, Molestation, Fatness, Spinsterhood, Grief, Disease, Lushery, Decrepitude & More: For Young and Old Alike
Augusten Burroughs
Adult Audiobook
Recommend?: Definitely!
Honesty. Will. Change. Theraputic thinking. Addiction treatment. Adult behavior.
Not your typical self-help book, but lots of useful ways of thinking. I'll be revisiting this.

Moon Called (Mercy Thompson #1)
Patricia Briggs
Adult Audiobook
Recommend?: Shrug.
Werewolves. Tri-Cities. Pacific NW. Witches. Coyotes.
Meh.

I sent your write ups for "Cat Girl's Day Off" and "The Wicked and the Just" to my sisters, who have an intergenerational book club with the tween-age daughter of a late cousin.

I like my lushery and decrepitude, thanks, so I'll pass on "This is How."

Glad to be of help!

TiH does indeed require some willingness.
