11 Great Danes!

I don't think I've ever seen more than 2 great danes together at a time before, but today out at Marymoor Park, we saw a whole herd of them. It was like happening upon a game preserve or something, just wild.

A herd of Great Danes. That's a great image, sort of like Gary Larson's "Poodles of the Serengeti."

They were even romping around in tall grasses and playing dominance games with each other. It was impressive. Especially the volume of their barks.

I can imagine: one Great Dane has a way of filling up a venue.

Maybe it was a special gathering, like beagle fests or "doodle romps" (labradoodles).
